The Systems/Lan Administrator responds to customer IT service requests, analyzes problems, and implements solutions across the Arizona Department of Transportation. The role involves installing and repairing hardware and software, managing trouble tickets, traveling throughout the state as needed, and ensuring compliance with statewide IT standards. This is a full‑time position within the Information Technology Group based in Safford, Arizona.
Key qualifications:- General working knowledge of infrastructure technologies and software applications
- Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and prioritize multiple tasks
- Valid driver's license required for essential job functions
- Bachelor's degree and/or 3+ years IT experience preferred;
Microsoft, A+, Server+, Network+, or CompTIA certifications preferred
