Lead Foreman
• JJL Design & Build LLC • $35–$45 per hour (based on experience) + Year-End Bonus

JJL Design & Build LLC is seeking an experienced and highly capable Lead Foreman to manage and execute residential construction projects from start to finish. In this role, you’ll be responsible for interpreting plans and specifications, organizing and directing crews, and ensuring high-quality results are delivered efficiently and on schedule. This is a hands‑on leadership role requiring deep knowledge of residential construction methods and strong organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities- Lead residential construction projects from plans/specifications through final punch list
- Interpret blueprints and manage crews to execute scopes of work efficiently
- Organize and direct daily field operations to ensure high quality, safety, and productivity
- Oversee and assist with framing, painting, flooring, cabinet installs, window and door installation, base and trim work
- Manage jobsite schedules, updates, and documentation using project management software
- Communicate effectively with internal staff, subcontractors, vendors, and clients
- Identify and solve jobsite issues using strong critical thinking and decision‑making skills
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized worksites
- Train and mentor field team members
- Represent JJL professionally in all client and team interactions
- Minimum 7 years of hands‑on residential construction experience
- Ability to manage projects and crews independently
- Proficient in framing, finish carpentry, flooring, window and door installation, and cabinet setting
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Able to read and interpret blueprints and plans
- Familiarity with construction management software or willingness to learn
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
