The OpportunityReed Practice has partnered exclusively with the Principal Partner to recruit an experienced Accounts Manager
. This is a client management role rather than a people management position, making it ideal for someone who enjoys building strong client relationships and delivering high-quality accountancy services.

Working alongside a knowledgeable and experienced team, you will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of clients and providing a broad range of accounting and tax services.
Key Responsibilities- Acting as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, providing proactive advice and maintaining strong, long-term relationships.
- Preparing statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
- Producing accounts in accordance with FRS 102 and FRS 105.
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns.
- Liaising with clients and HMRC to resolve queries efficiently.
- Preparing personal and corporate tax returns associated with client accounts.
- Supporting bookkeeping activities and the production of management accounts.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A relevant accounting qualification, such as AAT, ACA or ACCA
. - Previous experience working within an accountancy practice environment.
- Strong experience preparing accounts under FRS 102 and FRS 105.
- Experience preparing personal and corporate tax returns.
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
- The ability to manage your own workload and build trusted client relationships.
