Are you a Graduate Civil Engineer looking for a role where you'll receive hands‑on training, work on major UK infrastructure projects, and develop your technical skills within a growing specialist consultancy?

This growing consultancy has over 25 years of experience delivering transport planning, highway design, and infrastructure solutions across major UK developments. Working closely with developers, contractors, and local authorities, they play a key role in large‑scale transport and infrastructure projects nationwide.

In this role, you will work closely with experienced Engineers and Transport Planners, supporting a variety of transport and highways projects while developing your technical skills through practical, on‑the‑job training. You will assist with transport assessments, junction modelling, infrastructure design work, AutoCAD drawings, and site visits while gaining exposure to real‑world engineering projects from day one.

This role would suit a Graduate Civil Engineer looking for structured training, long‑term progression, and the opportunity to work on varied infrastructure and highways projects within a supportive consultancy environment.

• Supporting transport planning and highway engineering projects
• Assisting with transport assessments, junction modelling, and infrastructure design
• Producing technical drawings using AutoCAD
• Reviewing site surveys, transport data, and technical information
• Attending site visits alongside senior engineers and project teams
• Receiving ongoing training and mentorship from experienced engineers

• Degree in Civil Engineering or similar
• Interest in highways, infrastructure, or transport planning
• Basic AutoCAD experience or similar design software
• Commutable to Saffron Walden
