Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 (depending on experience)

Office hours 8am - 4:45pm Monday - Friday. Site hours will vary
The Role
We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to deliver specialist projects from contract award through to final handover. You'll take ownership of programme, budget, resourcing, site delivery and stakeholder management, ensuring projects are completed safely, compliantly, and to the required quality standards.
This would suit a Project Manager with experience in the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead projects end-to-end, from contract award through to final handover (including snagging, handover docs and client sign-off)
- Own and maintain programme, budget and resource plans; track progress, costs and risks and take corrective action where needed
- Coordinate design, manufacture, delivery and installation activities to meet technical and quality requirements
- Manage site delivery: lead site teams, subcontractors and specialist installers, ensuring effective day-to-day coordination
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, principal contractors and consultants; chair progress, technical and commercial meetings
- Ensure compliance across all projects, plus H&S documentation and controls
- When you are not on site, would be based in the Saffron Walden office, working on other projects, therefore it is essential that you are in reasonable commuter distance of Saffron Walden.
Essential
- Strong understanding of site operations and programme management
- Experience working under NEC (or similar) contracts
- Excellent client and stakeholder management skills
- Strong commercial awareness and cost control ability
- Confident leading site teams and subcontractors
- Must be eligible for UK security clearance
- Knowledge of NEC4 Option A
- Highly organised and detail-driven
- Calm under pressure and decisive
- Commercially aware and solutions-focused
- Professional, reliable, and client-focused
- Strong communicator at all levels
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 (depending on experience)
Holidays: 23 days + Bank Holidays
Pension
Paid mileage for use of own vehicle (where travel is required to/from a location other than your usual place of work)
