Trainee Quality Inspector

Solution 47 Recruitment is delighted to be working with our established engineering client in Saffron Walden who is seeking a motivated Trainee Quality Technician to join their Quality division. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or grow their career within engineering quality control, inspection, and compliance.

You’ll be trained to inspect components, support quality processes, and work closely with both production and engineering teams to ensure products meet required standards. No prior quality experience is necessary — just a practical mindset, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.

• Assist in the inspection and measurement of components and finished products.
• Support the Quality Engineers with testing, data collection, and reporting.
• Learn to use measuring tools such as verniers, micrometers, gauges, and test equipment.
• Help identify and record non-conformances, supporting investigations where required.
• Maintain accurate documentation and quality control records.
• Assist with audits, process checks, and continuous improvement activities.
• Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to uphold quality standards
