Working closely with the production team, you’ll play a key role in maintaining high standards of food safety, product quality and compliance across the site. The role offers a varied mix of hands-on factory checks, GMP audits, quality documentation, updating procedures and delivering training to colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out routine quality checks and inspections across the factory.
* Support GMP audits and ensure site standards are consistently maintained.
* Complete and maintain accurate quality records and documentation.
* Assist with updating procedures, work instructions and quality paperwork.
* Deliver training and guidance to colleagues on quality, food safety and GMP requirements.
* Work closely with production teams to promote best practice and ensure compliance.
* Identify potential issues and contribute to continuous improvement across the site.
* Help maintain a strong culture of quality, hygiene and food safety throughout the business.
About You

The ideal candidate will have:
* Previous experience working in a food manufacturing environment (essential).
* Experience in QA, QC, auditing or other quality-related activities (preferred).
* A good understanding of GMP and food safety standards.
* Strong communication skills and the confidence to train and support colleagues.
* Excellent attention to detail and accurate record-keeping skills.
* A practical, solutions-focused approach, with the ability to identify areas for improvement.
