Heating and Plumbing Engineer

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Gas Engineer to carry out installations, servicing, breakdowns, and repairs across a range of domestic properties. The successful candidate will be Gas Safe registered and committed to delivering high standards of workmanship and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out gas boiler installations, servicing, and repairs in line with manufacturer instructions and regulations Diagnose and repair faults in gas appliances and heating systems Perform landlord gas safety checks (CP12) and issue certificates Install, commission, and maintain gas appliances (boilers, cookers, fires, etc.) Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional appearance and attitude Ensure work complies with current Gas Safe and Building Regulations Complete all relevant documentation and digital reports accurately and on time Maintain safe working practices and adhere to health and safety procedures Manage own van stock and maintain tools and equipment in good condition Requirements ( Essential):
Gas Safe Registered (with up-to-date certification) ACS Qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1, etc.) Proven experience in domestic gas engineering Full UK Driving Licence Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Desirable: LPG or Commercial Gas qualifications (if applicable) Experience working with smart thermostats and heating controls ASHP Key Words:
