FLT Driver- Cambridge

Manpower is currently recruiting for a Warehouse/FLT driver to join our globally recognised client based south of Cambridge.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a market-leading organisation during an exciting period of growth. The successful candidate will become part of a busy Stores and Warehouse team, with the potential for a permanent position following a successful temporary period.
To be successful in this role, you must hold:
A valid  external FLT licence , either:
Counterbalance
Reach Truck

Previous warehouse or stores experience is desirable
A strong commitment to health and safety

Key Responsibilities     Carry out daily safety checks on equipment and vehicles
Receive, unload and store deliveries safely and efficiently
Check deliveries for damaged or missing items
Quality check products and materials
Operate Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck FLTs safely and effectively
Load and dispatch goods accurately
Deliver materials to production lines in line with operational requirements
Pick and prepare orders for dispatch
Conduct stock counts as required
Ensure all lifting and manual handling activities are carried out safely
Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
Follow all company health, safety and environmental procedures
Shifts
These roles will be covering a variety of working patterns based around 12-hour shifts - averaging 12 shifts a month with rest periods as long as 8 days between (Average 6/7-night shifts per month). Over time is also regularly available and paid at 1.5x or 2.0x the rate depending on the shift.
Health & Safety   All employees are responsible for their own health and safety, as well as the safety of others who may be affected by their actions. You will be required to comply with all company Health & Safety policies, procedures and legal requirements at all times.
