Job SummaryThe Alternative Pain Management/OMT Physician is responsible for performing and recording patient health history, conducting patient examinations and diagnoses, recommending medical treatments, and providing on-site treatment and hospitalization services as necessary. The physician must also ensure proper documentation in the patient chart. This role involves participating in a team-based approach to care within the Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) model and engaging in activities related to Quality Improvement.
Requirements- DO degree from an accredited Medical School.
- Experience with Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT) and pain management preferred.
- Licensed by the Michigan State Board of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery. Must possess a valid DEA license. Board Certification is preferred.
