Summary
We are seeking dedicated and passionate General Education Teachers to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a positive and engaging learning environment for students, fostering academic growth and personal development. Responsibilities- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and meet the diverse needs of students.
- Create a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation, engagement, and respect.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through various methods, including tests, projects, and classroom observations.
- Provide individualized support to students, addressing their unique learning needs and challenges.
- Collaborate with fellow educators, support staff, and parents to promote a cohesive educational experience.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate progress to parents and guardians.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational best practices.
- Implement classroom management strategies to maintain a safe and productive learning environment.
- Foster a culture of respect for students, teachers, parents, and staff.
- Engage in school-wide initiatives and contribute to the overall development of the school community.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Valid teaching certification or license for the relevant grade level and subject area.
- Proven experience as a classroom teacher, preferably in a general education setting.
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development and instructional strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to differentiate instruction and adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Proficiency in using technology and educational software to enhance learning.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to a positive school culture.
