Medical Assistant Instructor – Part Time – Mornings/Afternoons/Evenings

Join Ross Education and become a fully trained instructor for year‑round medical assisting classes. You’ll teach morning, afternoon, or evening sessions. Availability needed for scheduling.

Your MA experience and desire to help others learn are all that’s needed to become a fully trained instructor.

Medical Assistant Instructor

Duties Include:

• Teach in the Medical Assisting classroom with a maximum of 24 students, covering clinical and administrative skills.
• Conduct 4.5‑hour day or evening sessions.
• Learn the material and deliver lectures and demonstrations using Ross lesson plans and curriculum.
• Work part‑time, typically 9–27 hours per week.

Requirements:

• 3+ years’ experience in the medical assisting field and formal training from an accredited institution. Must be able to obtain a national certification as medical assistant. Individuals without formal education must have a minimum of 5+ years’ experience working in the medical field and a national certification. Additional requirements or exceptions may be applicable based on state, program, and accreditation requirements.
• Interest in teaching or prior experience.
• Must be flexible and have a passion to learn and grow.
