Fives DyAG Corp is looking for an experienced Controls Engineer in the Saginaw, MI area.
Job Responsibilities
- Design of Electrical hardware circuits and control panels (AutoCAD Electrical)
- Design of PLC Software programs and development HMI screens to customer specifications (typically Allen Bradley)
- Conduct the peripheral device programming and machine PLC programming
- Supervise and coordinate the machine debug, power up, and machine validation with mechanical build and electrical teams
- Set up and configure communication networks including device net, Ethernet and remote I/O
- Commission and validation systems at the customer's location
Qualifications
- 5+ years with Controls and Electrical design is ideal
- Strong PLC programming experience—ideally with both Allen Bradley and Siemens software
- Technical degree in an electrical related field preferred (Bachelor's preferred, but will consider other degrees and experience)
- Experience working for a company building custom machinery for industries such as automotive, aerospace, medical, chemical, plastics and/or electronics is preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Prior experience working with an ERP/MRP system and creating BOMs
- Ability to travel to customer sites for commissioning and installs as needed (typically 5-20%)
- Valid driver's license
- Strong organizational skills
