Trillium Staffing is now seeking a Product Technician in Saginaw!
As a Product Technician, you will play a pivotal role in developing and supporting new products, design updates, and novel applications for water screening equipment. Collaborating with the Product Engineering Team and Skunk Works, you’ll design, test, and implement innovative solutions in the field that meets the customer needs and align with our commitment to simplicity and reliability. This role requires creativity, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Pay rate is $34/hr this is a direct hire position.

Qualifications- - Education:
High School Diploma required; B.S. in Engineering (Mechanical, Environmental, or MET.
- - Required:
4+ years working with mechanical/electrical controls and process monitoring equipment. - -Preferred:
Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes (e.g., equipment startup, repair, or operations). - - Required:
2+ years fabricating components, bringing concepts to life.
- -Proficiency in reading mechanical blueprints and resolving complex mechanical engineering challenges.
- -Strong computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PPT)
- -Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and project management skills.
- -Strong written and verbal communication skills to engage effectively with customers, engineers, industry partners, and cross-functional teams.
- -Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- -Proficient with tools such as - drill press, cut off saws, hand tools, welders, etc.
- -Experience with troubleshooting electrical controls.
- -Familiarity with wastewater industry and organizations (e.g., WWEMA, MWEA).
- -Small business or startup experience.
- -Valid driver’s license for travel to customer sites. (2-weeks travel per month)
- -Ability to drive a fork truck and obtain a license.
- -Ability to lift 50+ pounds, work in confined spaces, and navigate uneven terrain.
- -Comfort working in diverse climates and wastewater treatment plant environments.
