The Financial Analyst II – Decision Support leads advanced reporting and complex financial and strategic analysis for departments throughout the organization. The position exercises good judgment and decision making while acting independently with leadership as a financial liaison or project lead.

• Prepare and analyze product line, profitability, physician and reimbursement reports using the Eclipsys decision support system.
• Develop and maintain the cost accounting and decision support system, including standards, allocations and training.
• Assist in preparing the annual operating budgets for the organization, by specific department.
• Provide direct supervision of decision support users within the Financial Services department.
• Assist Financial Services staff on monthly financial statement review, close procedures and special projects.
• Develop timely and accurate standard or ad‑hoc reports required by hospital management.
• Review physician practice revenue cycle and oversee monthly journal entries for physician practices.
• Maintain external benchmarking software standards, reporting and education.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA or Master’s Degree preferred.
• Five years of finance experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Crystal Reports.
• Knowledge of Lawson S3, Axiom Financial Product Suites and cost accounting systems.
• Strong oral and written communication, organizational and analytical skills.
• Sound judgment in handling confidential or sensitive issues.
• Ability to work independently and in teams, with a positive and energetic image.
