• Develop, implement, and maintain infection prevention and control policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines
• Conduct surveillance and investigation of infections, outbreaks, and potential transmission events, and develop and implement corrective actions as necessary
• Collaborate with healthcare staff, departments, and stakeholders to promote a culture of safety and infection prevention
• Provide education and training to staff on infection prevention and control practices, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Conduct regular audits and assessments of infection prevention and control practices, and make recommendations for improvement
• Maintain accurate records and reports of infection prevention and control activities, and submit reports to regulatory agencies as required
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance improvement projects related to infection prevention and control

• Current RN license in the state of Michigan
• Infection Control Certification or willingness to obtain
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
