IT Support Inventory Technician; Michigan

Position: IT Support Travel Inventory Technician (Michigan Travel Only)

Daily Travel required in the Greater Saginaw and Northern Michigan Area for a 1 Month Contract During the Month of January 2026

Job Description

Our Client is kicking off an IT project to migrate their primary software from a custom in house application to Epic. Epic has very specific requirements on end user hardware and peripherals. Our Client needs to perform a thorough inventory of all workstations and associated peripherals in their 200+ sites throughout all of Michigan. Our technicians will be going site to site to take a physical inventory of all workstations, workstation models, peripherals including monitors, barcode scanners, hand scanners, e‑signature pads, label printers (i.e., Zebra printers – not a big scan/print/fax/copier), and document scanners.

Hours will be normal 1st shift business hours, but candidates need to be flexible to start their day early or end their day late if they are traveling to sites far from their home. There will likely be occasions they need to spend the night in a hotel (hotel expenses and meal expenses for overnight travel will be covered). We need candidates that are flexible because we will not be able to correctly predict in advance all the nights they need to be away from home in a hotel.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 – $25.00/hr.
