• Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) – Travel Nurse
• Location: Saginaw, Michigan (Zip: 48607)
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Contract
• Start Date: December 22, 2025
• End Date: March 23, 2026
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12 Hour Days (11:00 AM – 11:30 PM)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• On Call: No call required
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1680 - $1800

• Active Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• BLS certification (AHA required)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience
• Experience in a Level 2 Trauma Center required
• Proficient in Ortho, Vascular, Neuro, General/GYN, and Urology surgical procedures
• Recent travel nursing experience highly preferred
• Submission of work history, current skills checklist (within 1 year), and two recent supervisory references (within last 2 years) required

• Assess surgical patient needs and develop individualized perioperative care plans
• Implement, evaluate, and document patient care during surgical procedures, prioritizing patient safety
• Provide leadership and supervision to the operating room healthcare team
• Coordinate schedule changes, assemble equipment and supplies, and assist anesthesia as needed
• Monitor the sterile field and ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and clinical staff
• Participate in staff development, preceptorship, and continuing education for ongoing professional growth
