Overview

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner – Newborn Nursery

• Morning rounding in the Newborn Nursery
• Daily evaluation and management of healthy newborns
• Collaboration with pediatricians, nursing staff, and OB teams
• Documentation of newborn exams, care plans, and discharge summaries
• Call coverage from home, limited to phone triage and urgent needs
• Supporting family education and ensuring high‑quality, family‑centered care

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing
• Board Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP Primary Care or PNP Acute Care)
• Active Michigan RN and NP licensure (or eligibility)
• Experience with newborn care preferred
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
