Job Overview

Join Target as a General Merchandise Expert. This role is part of the General Merchandise and Food Sales team, which leads inbound, outbound, replenishment, and promotional signing processes for all General Merchandise areas of the store.

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and helping solve their specific needs.
• Execute daily tasks to achieve business priorities, including receiving products, restocking shelves, and arranging merchandise.
• Operate power equipment to move merchandise or store fixtures, if certified.
• Learn operational procedures, such as setting up and organizing merchandise, managing product stock levels, and maintaining sales floor areas.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
• Work in a safe manner and comply with all safety policies, best practices, and training.

• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly and accurately.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes.
