Delivery driving responsibilities are central to the role. Specific duties include:

• Deliver product by car to customers, including door-to-door delivery and distributing flyers/door hangers as applicable.
• Operate store equipment and assist with daily store tasks as needed, including taking orders and processing payments according to company standards.
• Assist with stocking from delivery areas to storage, walk-in cooler, and prep areas; maintain cleanliness and organization.

Additional responsibilities may include handling telephone orders, inventory control, and on-the-job training as part of store operations.

Many team members have progressed from delivery drivers to roles such as franchise owners or managers within the organization.

• General duties for all store team members: operate equipment, stock ingredients, prepare product, handle orders, maintain inventory, and keep the facility clean.
• Training: orientation and on-the-job training provided.
• Communication: ability to understand and convey written and verbal instructions; effective customer and coworker interactions.

  basic arithmetic, correct monetary change, and ability to enter orders via computer keyboard or touch screen; strong eye-hand coordination.
• Driver-specific requirements: valid driver's license, safe driving record, access to insured vehicle for delivery.

Work involves exposure to varying weather conditions, in-store temperatures from 36 to above 90 degrees, and possible exposure to food odors and cornmeal dust. Tasks may involve standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 pounds on deliveries), carrying, pushing/pulling, climbing stairs, and other movements required for food preparation and delivery.

Physical tasks include handling hot surfaces up to 500 degrees, maneuvering trays and equipment, and occasional ladder/climbing for signs maintenance or cleaning.

Team members must have adequate vision (near and mid-range) and the ability to differentiate hot vs cold surfaces. They should be capable of working alone or with others, handling stress, and maintaining quality standards while interacting with customers and coworkers.

• Standing, walking, sitting as needed; lifting up to 50 pounds; carrying, pushing/pulling, kneeling, bending, reaching; frequent hand and wrist movements; climbing stairs as required for deliveries.

• Deliver products by car to customer door and distribute promotional materials as needed.
• Navigate designated delivery areas and multi-story buildings; plan routes and manage time efficiently.

• Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within the delivery area; ability to navigate various delivery sites while carrying products.
