The Communication Arts and Sciences Department at CSU Chico is seeking qualified lecturers for the 2026-27 academic year. Candidates should hold a master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
Your role will include developing course materials, engaging students in assessments, and evaluating the program’s effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct instruction and assessments for assigned CMSD courses
• Develop and deliver engaging course materials and assignments
• Evaluate and improve course content based on departmental needs
• Collaborate with faculty on curriculum development
• Mentor diverse student populations to enhance their learning experience
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or equivalent
• Teaching and cultural experience relevant to CMSD 156 course
• Preferred clinical experience in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active California state license and ASHA certification
• Experience working with diverse populations is a plus
