Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The role of the Technical Records Clerk is to verify, amend, update the maintenance line work orders (LWO) and heavy work orders (HWO) as assigned by the ACAs and Crew Chiefs for all aircraft, as well as to coordinate and control any technical documentation related to aircraft maintenance.
Assist in the coordination and execution of technical recording of maintenance activities in ERP system (RAMCO);Helps planning the technical records prior to technical dispatch;Assist in troubleshooting technical issues in ERP system (RAMCO);Prepare documentation and technical records to participate in the pre-induction meeting for periodic inspections;Follow up and verify maintenance documents and technical records during periodic inspections;Follow up and verify maintenance documents and technical records for operational aircraft;Facilitate and coordinate technical records for aircraft parts replacement and cannibalization.Prepare Major Mod Reports and initiate Flight Authority applications on behalf of the Aircraft Maintenance Organization and ensure technical entries in LWO and HWO;Assists Maintenance Coordinator and Parts Planner with coordination of technical records for TCIs and component replacements in the ERP (RAMCO);Provide guidance and training to maintenance technicians on technical entries to minimize errors in log entries;Support the technician training on the ERP (RAMCO);Follow up on maintenance document and technical records to ensure maintenance control;Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor;Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in an aircraft maintenance organization.Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a technical clerkExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customersExcellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)Ability to learn and work in a maintenance ERP system (RAMCO)Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer serviceAbility to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practicesAbility to perform all work in support of our Corporate Values of Excellence, Service, Integrity … Together.Physical Requirements:
