We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer specializing in structural design for engaging hydroelectric projects. Your design and calculation skills will play a crucial role in ensuring project safety and compliance.
In this position, you will engage in various technical projects, utilizing your civil engineering degree while pursuing OIQ membership.
Your role includes on-site measurements and working alongside a dedicated team to create innovative solutions for our clients’ needs focused on hydroelectric production.
Key Responsibilities:
• Measure and evaluate project sites accurately
• Develop technical concepts alongside engineers and designers
• Perform calculations validating design integrity and safety
• Create detailed reports and calculation notes
• Oversee site work and ensure project milestones are met
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or currently studying
• Good standing or in process of OIQ membership
• Proficient in sizing steel, concrete, and wood structures
• Knowledge of SAFI, AutoCAD, Math Cad is a plus
• Passion for hydroelectric power and its technology
