This is a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects that support the energy transition while working on highly technical industrial equipment. Mission As part of the Product Engineering team, you will contribute to the design, development and continuous improvement of complex industrial equipment. Working closely with engineering, manufacturing and quality teams, you will develop reliable, manufacturable and compliant technical solutions.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Designing and modeling mechanical components and assemblies in Solid Works;
• Creating manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, BOMs and technical documentation;
• Supporting new product development and product improvement initiatives;
• Standardizing components and maintaining the Solid Works model library;
• Collaborating with manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility;
• Providing technical support to production teams and troubleshooting mechanical issues;
• Participating in the design of piping systems and pressure vessel assemblies;
• Contributing to engineering process improvements.
Your profile Education
• Mechanical Engineering Technology diploma, Industrial Drafting diploma or equivalent. Experience
• Minimum 2 years of mechanical design experience;
• Manufacturing environment experience;
• Experience with welded assemblies;
• Experience with piping systems or pressure vessels is considered a strong asset;
• Experience in energy, gas, oil or process industries is an asset. Technical Skills
• Solid Works;
• PDM;
• AutoCAD or Draft Sight (asset);
• BOM creation and management;
• Microsoft Office;
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes. Soft Skills
• Team-oriented mindset;
• Strong attention to detail;
• Organized and autonomous;
• Technical curiosity;
• Ability to work within multidisciplinary teams. Requirements
• Canadian citizenship or permanent residency required;
• Full-time on-site presence;
• Strong French communication skills;
• Intermediate English. ________________________________________ Working Conditions Salary • $70,000 to $80,000 depending on experience. Schedule
• Permanent full-time position;
• Day shift;
• Flexible schedule with start time no later than 8:30-9:00 AM;
