Responsibilities   Participate in geotechnical design on various projects
Contribute to administrative project management
Assist in preparing proposals for professional services
Perform geotechnical calculations (bearing capacity, settlements, slope stability, soil liquefaction, etc.)
Carry out numerical modelling studies for major projects
Participate in drafting technical reports
Collaborate with other departments and services
About You   Bachelor’s degree in civil, geological, or mining engineering
Master’s degree or Ph.D. in geotechnical engineering is an asset
Minimum of 5 years of experience
Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
Strong knowledge of geotechnical engineering (buildings, foundations, slope stability analysis, linear infrastructure, soil liquefaction)
Possess a valid ASP Construction card
Hold a valid driver’s licence

Excellent spoken and written French
Strong judgment and analytical skills
Good knowledge of commonly used geotechnical software
Ability to work as part of a team in complex and changing environments
