Location: Saint-Bruno
Transform railway usability as an Operability Engineer at Alstom, focusing on advanced Vehicle Operability Concepts. Drive usability and maintenance improvements across rail systems.
This key role involves defining operability requirements aligned with the Vehicle Operability Breakdown Structure (VOBS). You will collaborate with stakeholders to develop practical operational scenarios, ensuring all aspects of usability are meticulously considered. Your expertise in railway operations will support the successful planning and execution of operability workshops.
Key Responsibilities:
• Consolidate and analyze customer operation requirements
• Develop scenarios and operability features using VOBS
• Identify discrepancies between solutions and customer expectations
• Organize Vehicle Operability workshops for effective planning
• Create comprehensive operability concept documentation.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in electrical or mechanical engineering
• 5 years of relevant railway experience
• Fluent in both French and English
• Knowledge of DOORS and modeling tools like SysML
