Medical Device Senior Reliability Engineer

Elevate product safety with a Senior Reliability Engineer role in Ottawa, Ontario. This onsite position seeks expertise in Reliability Engineering within the Medical Device/Med Tech industry.

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Reliability Engineer with over 10 years of experience specifically in Medical Devices. You will leverage your knowledge in reliability engineering, HALT, HASS, and accelerated life testing to enhance product reliability. Candidates must also be adept with DFMEA, PFMEA, and fault tree analysis, alongside proficiency in Minitab or JMP.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop core reliability profiles for medical devices

• Conduct HALT, HASS, and accelerated life testing

• Perform DFMEA, PFMEA, and fault tree analyses

• Model reliability using Weibull and lognormal techniques

• Create custom test fixtures for verification testing

Requirements:

• 10+ years in Medical Device/Med Tech reliability engineering

• Proficiency in Minitab or JMP required

• Knowledge of ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR 820

• Familiarity with IEC and EU regulations

• Ability to analyze life data and conduct root cause analysis
