Step into the role of a CAD Engineer for Mechanical Integration at Alstom in Saint-Bruno de Montarville. Drive innovation in the design and assembly processes for transportation systems.
This full-time position involves utilizing your mechanical integration skills to collaborate with various technical teams. You will play a key role in producing Space Allocation Mock-ups (SAM) and delivering high-quality 3D and 2D designs that meet stringent industry standards. Your expertise contributes to the seamless integration of mechanical systems across diverse projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform and maintain Space Allocation Mock-ups (SAM)
• Generate annotated SAMs for supplier exchanges and compliance checks
• Conduct detailed design of in-house parts in 3D and 2D
• Create assembly drawings and comprehensive Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Support weight data calculations and stack-up analyses
Requirements:
• Advanced technician certification is required
• Engineering degree is a plus for junior candidates
• Basic English skills required for meetings
• Experience in heavy industry design is advantageous
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
