Senior Network Engineer at Zayo

This role demands Government of Canada Security Clearance and includes responsibilities such as configuring equipment, documenting projects, and collaborating with internal teams. An ideal candidate will possess expertise in IP routing, switching, and vendor negotiation, contributing to impactful projects that fuel Zayo's mission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify backbone congestion and facilitate IP trunk installations

• Engineer router capacity details and manage cross-connects

• Update project status daily in Salesforce

• Verify and configure equipment for deployment

• Provide team training on infrastructure builds

Requirements:

• Must have Government of Canada Security Clearance

• Expertise in IP routing fundamentals, BGP, and DNS

• Five years in telecommunications or data networking

• Experience with Cisco, Junos, or Nokia

• Preferred certification: CCNA or CCNP
