Alstom is seeking a skilled Cost Engineer with 5 to 10 years of experience. You will drive cost efficiency by developing methodologies for cost analysis and collaborating with engineering, sourcing, and manufacturing teams. Your insights will enhance product families and formalize savings opportunities within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Apply methodologies to calculate technical costs across projects
• Develop cost analysis techniques for components and systems
• Propose design improvements to reduce manufacturing expenses
• Promote cost-conscious engineering practices across teams
• Provide cost breakdowns to aid sourcing negotiations
Requirements:
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 5 to 10 years of mechanical engineering experience
• Knowledge of cost analysis and industrial processes
• Fluency in French and English required
• Experience in transportation industry preferred
