Position: Backend Engineer on Data Foundations Team
Join a leading financial infrastructure company as a Backend Engineer focused on Data Foundations. This role involves designing data pipelines and collaborating across internal teams to enhance data-driven experiences.

We are seeking an experienced engineer with a strong data focus at a prominent financial platform. As part of the Data Foundations team, you’ll manage critical data processes and work closely with Product, Data Science, and GTM teams. Enhance our infrastructure using technologies like Scala and Spark while solving complex data issues with a collaborative approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop data pipelines and products for various teams

• Manage SLAs for data pipelines and full stack applications

• Build and refine infrastructure for data tools and services

• Leverage LLM and Agents for high-quality data solutions

• Track key product metrics to assess strategies' impacts

Requirements:

• 6+ years in Software Engineering focusing on data services

• Experience with Spark or similar frameworks for data pipelines

• Background in backend languages like Scala or Java

• Strong SQL knowledge and cross-functional communication skills

• Ability to troubleshoot data quality issues and provide insights
