Job Posting:
We are seeking a skilled Privacy Specialist to join our team on a full‑time or part‑time basis. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented professional with strong experience in privacy compliance and risk assessment.
Key Responsibilities Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs), ideally within a healthcare or regulated environment
Support and enhance privacy governance frameworks, policies, and procedures
Identify and assess privacy risks and recommend mitigation strategies
Provide guidance on data protection and regulatory compliance requirements
Requirements Proven experience conducting Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs)
Background in healthcare privacy is strongly preferred
Strong understanding of privacy laws, regulations, and best practices
Strong IT security background with knowledge of security principles and controls
Solid verbal and written communications
Certifications such as CIPP/C or CIPT preferred
Consulting or advisory experience is considered an asset
