Privacy Specialist - chambord

Job Posting:
We are seeking a skilled Privacy Specialist to join our team on a full-time or part-time basis. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong experience in privacy compliance and risk assessment.

• Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs), ideally within a healthcare or regulated environment
• Support and enhance privacy governance frameworks, policies, and procedures
• Identify and assess privacy risks and recommend mitigation strategies
• Provide guidance on data protection and regulatory compliance requirements

• Proven experience conducting Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs)
• Background in healthcare privacy is strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of privacy laws, regulations, and best practices
• Strong IT security background with knowledge of security principles and controls
• Robust verbal and written communications
• Certifications such as CIPP/C or CIPT preferred
• Consulting or advisory experience is considered an asset
