Agence de Placement Trésor Inc. is recruiting on behalf of one of its clients, a well-established company in the heavy industrial manufacturing sector, for a Welding Foreman position on a permanent weekend schedule.
Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean Region12-hour shifts (Friday to Sunday)
Salary: $80,000 – $120,000 per year 36 hours/week paid as 40 hours Main
Responsibilities
As a Welding Foreman, you will be responsible for:
Supervising, coaching, and leading a team of welders;
Coordinating production needs and responding to client requests;
Promoting a strong health and safety culture in the workplace;
Performing flux-core welding on steel and aluminum;
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and project plans;
Implementing strategies to improve workflow and team organization;
Inspecting and validating work completed by the team.
Candidate Profile
Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial welding;
Valid CWB certification (steel, aluminum, flux-core – all positions);
Relevant experience in team supervision or personnel management;
Strong leadership, autonomy, judgment, and communication skills;
Excellent commitment to workplace health and safety.
