Provide essential healthcare services at a summer cadet camp. As an RN, deliver first aid, patient assessments, and screenings while ensuring health and safety for cadets in a dynamic environment.
This short-term role spans from late June to mid-August, offering full and part-time hours with competitive pay. You will assess patients, administer urgent care, and promote hygiene and prevention among cadets. Working in a collaborative setting, your contributions will significantly impact the well-being of those you serve at the camp.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and treat cadets and civilians on-site
• Administer urgent care and patient information
• Facilitate referrals to high-level medical authority
• Maintain accurate medical records and history
• Conduct health promotion and safety activities
Requirements:
• Valid RN license and relevant certifications
• French language proficiency required
• Experience in first aid and clinical settings
• Ability to work 8-12 hour shifts
• Pass Police Records Check/Vulnerable Sector Screening
