Our welcoming Villa Saguenay residence is currently seeking a talented nursing assistant who cares about the health of its residents. This is a permanent part‑time daytime position, 32 hours per week, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Salary: $22.92/h to $26/h.
Role and General Responsibilities- Administer medication in accordance with safety principles and the codes of ethics.
- Contribute to the adjustment of a resident’s action plan based on observations.
- Create and maintain meticulous notes in the resident’s dossier in accordance with the requirements of the Ordre des Infirmiers et Infirmières auxiliaires du Québec (OIIAQ).
- Promote and advocate for proactive care among residents.
- Respond to all emergency situations.
- College diploma in nursing (DEC) or a skilled studies diploma (DEP) in health care assistance, nursing.
- Ease in the use of computer tools.
- Knowledge of retirement homes, a major asset.
- Member of the OIIAQ.
- CPR up to date.
