Employee Relations
Under the supervision of the Employee Relations Manager, this role involves coordinating and assisting in developing and implementing policies, programs, and procedures related to Employee Relations. The position includes administering the drug-free workplace drug testing program, maintaining records, and managing provider relations. Extensive interaction with departmental supervisors, managers, team members, and the public is required.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Assist in developing and administering progressive discipline policies and procedures.
- Work with the Employee Relations Manager to document performance and disciplinary issues.
- Prepare and coordinate training sessions related to policies, HR, or Employee Relations leadership.
- Plan and implement team member engagement initiatives, including recognition events.
- Track complaints, concerns, grievances, and coordinate grievance hearings.
- Maintain Employee Assistance Program (EAP) reports and support the 2nd Chance program.
- Document involuntary terminations following company policies.
- Maintain tracking systems for terminations, exit surveys, grievances, unemployment claims, investigations, and complaints.
- Keep records of personnel policies and procedures.
- Assist with unemployment requests and track related documents.
- Support investigations and prepare final reports.
- Prepare reports, emails, and correspondence under the direction of the Employee Relations Manager.
- Maintain ongoing communication with the Employee Relations Manager regarding activities.
- Perform administrative duties supporting the Employee Relations program.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Business Administration, or a related field, with at least four years of employee relations experience, including engagement programs. Gaming experience and bilingual skills are preferred. A valid driver’s license is required. Human Resources certifications are a plus. Must be 18 years or older, with no felony or theft convictions, and able to pass pre-employment screening and obtain a gaming license.

Must be able to sit, use hands, reach, talk, hear, walk frequently, and occasionally stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. May need to lift/move up to 25 pounds.
Work EnvironmentPrimarily in an office and casino setting with high noise levels. May require work during evenings, holidays, weekends, extended hours, irregular shifts, and travel across property locations.
