Veterinary Technician

VCA Valley Animal Hospital of Sahuarita is looking for a full-time Veterinary Technician to join our growing practice in Sahuarita, Arizona. Location: 15990 S Rancho Sahuarita Blvd, Suite 130, Sahuarita, AZ 85629

Schedule: Hospital hours are Monday - Friday, 8 am to 6 pm, and Saturday, 9 am to 4 pm. Rotating schedule.

AAHA-accredited hospital where patient and client care is our top priority. Our staff is cross-trained in every aspect of the hospital, from answering phones and greeting clients to induction and monitoring anesthesia. Our technicians are highly leveraged. • Venipuncture
• Catheter placement
• Radiology
• Anesthesia monitoring
• Physical examinations and patient assessment
• Surgical preparation and assisting
• Dental
• Laboratory work
• Pharmacy
• Patient recovery
• Compassionate care for hospitalized patients

• Must have documented previous experience
• CVT license a plus, but not required
• Must have surgery experience
• Flexibility in hours, including but not limited to evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Customer service skills
• Working knowledge of computers
• Excellent communication skills
• Team player willing to learn new techniques and treatments
