Accounts Receivable Bookkeeper at Genesis
Position located in St. Albans, VT.
Base Pay RangeUSD $18.00/hr – USD $18.00/hr
OverviewThe bookkeeper will work Monday‑Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm with some flexibility. This role supports the Nursing Center business goals by accurately processing accounts receivable transactions in accordance with policy and procedures.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Nursing Home Administrator, business office colleagues, nursing center staff and the Centralized Billing Office, reporting to the Business Office Manager.
- Assist with census, billing and month‑end related activities, collections, refunds and patient/resident trust fund transactions.
- Complete Medical Assistance application tasks.
- Coordinate patient/resident ancillary charges and enter them into the billing system.
- Review patient/resident admission files for accuracy.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
