Residential Support Staff - Substitute

Northwestern Counseling & Support Services is seeking self-motivated and energetic individuals to join our supportive residential team in a part-time substitute capacity. Our 24/7 Residential Programs host individuals with severe and persistent mental illness.

• Providing a therapeutic and stable environment in community and residential settings
• Implementing person-centered & strength-based interventions
• Transporting clients
• Preparing and cooking meals
• Medication administration

• Experience in residential programming or working with individuals with mental illness.
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• A genuine and compassionate personality

• A valid driver’s license and the ability to transport clients in personal vehicle.

Associate’s Degree; or equivalent combination of related education, training and experience such as relevant certificate from college or technical school.
