Physical Therapist Assistant - Geriatric

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team and provide exceptional care to our geriatric patients. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients improve their movement, manage pain, and prevent disability. • Work closely with the Physical Therapist to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Assist patients with exercises and activities to improve mobility, strength, and balance.
• Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques to continue their rehabilitation at home.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals involved in the patient's care.
• Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients throughout their rehabilitation process.

• Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current state license or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with geriatric patients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
