American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring critical care experience and VT or compact RN licensure.

• Work in the ICU/PCU unit of a hospital setting
• Primarily step-down patient population, including ventilated patients with RT support
• Manages cardiac drips, insulin drips, and DKA protocols
• Responds to Rapid Response and Code Blue events
• Assists newer staff with tele rhythm strip interpretation
• Night shift schedule: 7p-7a, 3x12s, 36 hrs/week
• Works every other weekend
• No on-call responsibilities

• Active VT RN license or multistate compact license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• 3-4 years of critical care experience preferred

• Provide direct nursing care to step-down and critical care patients
• Collaborate with respiratory therapy for ventilated patient management
• Support newer staff with cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation
