Family Engagement Specialists work directly with families that have involvement with Vermont’s child welfare system. As an FES you will learn the skills to coordinate and facilitate family centered meetings, as well as support parent’s progress in skill building through family time with their children. Through the use of family centered models, FES assist in building bridges between families, foster parents, DCF, and other service providers to enrich the family’s participation in the practice of creating child safety.
As an FES, your role as a coordinator/case manager supports the building of connections with children and their extended families.
This full-time benefitted position offers tuition reimbursement and a sign-on/retention bonus. This position offers the right person extensive experience in both mental health and child welfare fields with ample opportunity to grow within both systems. Pay range for this position is $23 -$24/hr based on experience.
