Base pay range$17.50/hr - $21.00/hr
Responsibilities Pharmacy Operations- Assist the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Assist the pharmacist in the performance of other Pharmacy Department duties in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
- Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
- If PTCB certified, assist with and coach pharmacy technicians in the operation of pharmacy systems and cashiers in the operation of the pharmacy cash registers.
- Welcome and assist customers, resolving issues and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
- Record all related sales on assigned cash registers, collect and handle cash as required.
- Assist with inventory management activities such as ordering, unpacking, checking and storing shipments of pharmaceuticals.
- Maintain knowledge of Company asset protection techniques and file claims for overages, shortages, order errors or damaged goods involving Rx drugs.
- Assist pharmacists in scheduling and maintaining workflow.
- Report prescription errors immediately to the pharmacist and adhere to policies relating to pharmacy errors and the Quality Improvement Program.
- Adhere to Walgreen Co. policy regarding Good Faith Dispensing during applicable prescription dispensing.
- Assist in administering clinical services such as collecting and.inputting blood/urine samples or coordinating with external providers.
- Support Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist in building relationships with local medical community through outreach.
- Assist with exterior and interior maintenance, ensuring Pharmacy Department is stocked with adequate supplies, clean, neat, and orderly.
- Maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
- Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
- Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
- Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a<positive customer experience.
- Model and share customer service best practices with all team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.
- Develop strong relationships with most valuable customers.
- Earn and maintain PTCB certification through the designated PTCB training program and/or state required certification/registration. Otherwise, earn PTCB certification as a condition of promotion to senior technician.
- Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager and acquire continuing education credits.
- Maintain knowledge and skill in healthcare and pharmacy, including latest news and developments.
- Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico)
- Require willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
- Prefer six months of experience in首先 shop environment.
- Prefer to have prior work experience with Walgreens. END
