Responsibilities
  • Inspire and Guide Members:
    Offer cutting-edge fitness programming in Small Group and Team Training to help members reach their fitness goals, working closely with group trainers to foster a lively and engaging group training atmosphere.
  • Customized

    Coaching:

    Tailor fitness programs to align with Anytime Fitness programming and the member’s personal goals and abilities.
  • Fitness Consultations:
    Conduct comprehensive fitness assessments to understand and register the member’s goals, setting them on the path to success.
  • Track and Report Progress:
    Monitor each member’s journey, providing regular updates, and creating long-term coaching plans for sustained success.
  • Educate and Empower:
    Educate members on best practices in health, fitness, and nutrition, fostering long-term relationships.
  • Collaboration:

    Work closely with the management team to support the overall success of the coaching department.
  • Additional Responsibilities:
    Perform other duties as assigned to ensure a seamless member experience.
Compensation and Earning Potential

As a Fitness Coach, you can expect to earn between $15 and $25 per hour, based on your experience, performance, and client engagement. Your earning potential increases with:

  • Commissions on Coaching Packages:
    Earn additional income by selling fitness coaching packages and retaining clients over time.
  • Bonuses for Client Retention:
    Opportunities to earn performance-based bonuses as you help members reach their goals and build long-term relationships.
  • Career Growth Opportunities:
    With multiple locations and a focus on promoting from within, you can further increase your compensation by advancing into leadership roles within our coaching department or management teams.
Qualifications
  • Certified & Qualified:
    Current CPR, AED, and nationally recognized personal training certifications (NASM, ACE, or equivalent).
  • Fitness Coaching

    Experience:

    Prior experience in a fitness facility or private coaching environment preferred.
  • Software Savvy:
    Familiarity with fitness club management software (e.g., Club OS, Club Ready, apps like Apple Fitness).
  • Exceptional Communicator:
    Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to connect with and motivate people.
  • Lifelong Learner:
    Passionate about learning new techniques and principles in fitness, training, health, and nutrition.
  • Bonus

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field, or experience in corrective exercise, post-rehab, or injury prevention is a plus.
