Entry Level Staff Accountant

Overview

Job Summary: Vitis Energy is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Staff Accountant to join our growing accounting team. This position is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional eager to gain hands-on experience across a range of accounting functions within a multi-entity environment.

• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and journal entries.
• Help maintain accurate financial records and support daily transaction processing.
• Participate in month-end close activities under the supervision of senior staff.
• Provide general administrative and clerical support for the accounting team.
• Assist with audit preparation and documentation gathering.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or actively pursuing final coursework).
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience with ERP systems;
  Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central strongly preferred.

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to frequently lift or move items up to 10 pounds.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move items up to 25 pounds.

As required; potential for overnights is < 10%

Full time, exempt, on-site (St. Augustine, FL);
