The Automotive Technician plays a pivotal role within our automotive service team. Under the guidance of experienced technicians, the role involves learning diagnostic, repair, and maintenance skills for vehicles. Responsibilities include routine inspections, vehicle assessments, repair procedures, and providing exceptional customer service. This role delivers a foundation in automotive repair while contributing to team success.
Pay Range
: $16.15 – $24.23 per hour. Our flat‑rate pay rewards skilled professionals with predetermined amounts for each eligible task.
- Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance services.
- Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
- Install batteries and check electrical systems.
- Perform tire maintenance and install parts.
- Road test vehicles.
- Obtain or maintain A.S.E. certifications in at least one of A1–A8 within the first two years of employment (company pays testing fees; bonus for each test passed).
- Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
- Valid automobile driver’s license and ability to drive company vehicles.
- Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance and tire repair, including oil changes, inspections, and tire repair.
- Reading, writing, and math skills.
- 2 years of automotive repair experience or completion of a Vocational‑Technical School program, or demonstrated skills via certifications.
- A.S.E. certification or equivalent external qualifications.
- Medical, Dental, and Vision – starting day 1.
