Job Summary

The Procurement Manager oversees purchasing, sourcing, and supply chain to acquire goods/services at the best value, focusing on cost, quality, and reliability. Responsibilities include developing sourcing strategies, managing vendor relationships, ensuring policy compliance, and driving efficiency across the procurement lifecycle.

Required Education / Experience
  • Minimum five (5) years’ experience in a related field.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, procurement, finance, or business preferred.
  • Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) preferred.
  • Prior experience with manufacturing ERP system, preferred, SAP in particular.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to review and understand business agreements and documents.
  • Strong mathematical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Prior leadership experience preferred.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop sourcing strategies, conduct market research, and align procurement with business objectives.
  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers; negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing; manage ongoing vendor relationships.
  • Oversee the entire procurement process (RFPs, POs, receiving, payment) and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Focus on cost reduction and best value for money to maximize ROI.
  • Supervise, train, and delegate tasks to procurement staff.
  • Mitigate supply chain risks, manage budgets, monitor performance, and ensure quality.
  • Work with internal teams (Operations, Finance, Legal) to understand needs and integrate procurement.
