We're looking for crew members to work in the art department on our indie feature film 'Blood and Electricity'. The film is a 1930s period piece inspired by true events. The film takes place in Round Hill, Massachusetts, where we shot the first leg of production. Now we're shooting the second leg of production in Saint Augustine, FL. The story follows a rum runner whose fleet is taken out by the Coast Guard, and he ends up ashore at the Round Hill Mansion property, owned by Colonel Edward Green, Son of Hetty Green (the Witch of Wall Street).
This property was the foundation for MIT's research and science, and led to creations such as the Van de Graaff generator. The stranded Rum Runner then has to fight his way through the property, encountering security guards, otherworldly scientists, and the technological and economic elite. The film is set in 1933 in South Dartmouth, Massachusetts. While it is period‑specific, it is also highly stylized and almost surreal are a lower‑budget indie feature, and everyone who has worked on the film has been on deferred pay.
We are looking for highly passionate people who want the opportunity to get involved in a truly unique feature film. We need people who are creative, hard‑working, and can be flexible.
If you have any of the following skill sets, or adjacent skills that could help, reach out for more information.
